AnchorPlug is a precision magnetic stainless steel bench plug designed to cover unused 20mm dog holes on MFT-style work surfaces.

Why AnchorPlug Matters

Unused dog holes are the cost of versatility on an MFT-style bench. When they're idle, they:

Covering unused ports maintains a consistent work surface and prevents debris accumulation.

How to Use AnchorPlug

Basic Installation

  1. Identify unused dog holes in your work area
  1. Clean the hole if needed to remove debris
  1. Drop AnchorPlug in — it seats flush automatically
  1. Remove when needed using fingertip pressure or Argos magnetic pickup

Workflow Integration

Between operations, the rhythm is simple:

  • Argos adjusts pods and fixtures
  • AnchorPlugs lift with a magnetic pickup
  • Dust clears without chasing fasteners that fell through the grid
  • Plugs drop back in, and the bench is ready

This maintains an uninterrupted work surface between operations.

Pack Sizes & Coverage

AnchorPlug is available in multiple pack configurations to match your bench setup:

Zone Pack (20 units) — Cover key work zones or fixture points

Half Table Pack (40 units) — About half of a standard MFT surface

Shop Pack (60 units) — Approximately 3/4 coverage for active use

Full Table Pack (80 units) — Outfit entire MFT plus extras

Pro Pack (100 units) — Full coverage with Argos bench driver included

Bulk Pack (200 units) — Multi-bench supply with Argos driver included

Coverage Tip: Measure your work surface and count available dog holes. Most standard MFT tables have 96 holes in the main grid, though you'll typically use 5-15% for active fixtures and pods.

Use with Argos Bench Driver

AnchorPlug's magnetic construction allows pickup and placement with the Argos bench driver:

  • Argos provides magnetic retrieval of AnchorPlugs
  • Removes need to manually pick plugs from dog holes
  • Argos is also used to adjust pods and fixtures
  • Enables quick bench resets between operations

Magnetic stainless steel resists corrosion, adhesives, and shop wear. The brushed finish maintains its appearance through years of use.
